Brian Mason currently serves in the U.S. Army as a Lieutenant Colonel and lives at Ft. Hood, TX. He completed two combat tours in Iraq and an operation tour in Poland as a Medical Service Corps Officer. He started his career in 2004 after graduating from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA, and received a master's degree from the National Intelligence University.
His duty assignments include the 101st Airborne Division, Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Medical Center of Excellence, 30th Medical Brigade, Human Resources Command, V Corps, and 1st Medical Brigade.
Brian is the Post Officer of the Day and a Charter Member of Post 12235. He started his VFW Life Membership with Iron Rock Post 2566 in Baumholder, Germany, and transferred to Post 10281 in Radcliff, KY, due to PCS.
He is married and has two children, one in college and one in high school. When he is not supporting the VFW or spending time with family, he enjoys woodworking, motorcycle riding, finding his lost golf balls on the course, and supporting his son's baseball endeavors.
