Minnie Whitzel
Commander - Marines
Minnie Whitzel served in the U.S. Marine Corps for 30 years, both active and reserve. Minni served as the inaugural Post Commander from 2024-2025 and was subsequently reelected for the 2025-2026 year.
She earned her VFW eligibility in 2001 through the Global War on Terrorism, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and Operation Enduring Freedom.
She retired in 2008.
